It is fascinating to see that the public is still so very interested in my brother Philippe's life and career so many years (22) after his death. One question that I have gotten from several people has been the spelling of Phil's name. My father was a merchant marine, and that he named Phil for friends that he met in this early line of work. He wanted Philippe (which is more like the French spelling) pronounced like the Spanish Felipe, and Escalante was a Spanish friend. Again, thanks for your interest and support.
