the cherry on top here, too, but also the latest sets by Gato Barbieri, Bob Baldwin, Marion
Meadows, Kim Waters and Mike Phillips are well worth a mention.
Upfront Soul
Two strong soul singers who have only released one solo album a long time ago,
Terry Steele and Greg Walker are back with brand
new CD's. Temika Moore was introduced on her Website by Will Downing,
who writes that Temika has all the elements of a good singer. She really has, having an
interpretive style reminiscent of Rachelle Ferrell. The Organic Soul Vol 2.
compilation introduced us Kevin Chandler Band and The Real Kofy
Brown - our editor checks the original albums here. Other interesting new CD's
fteaure the traditional, solid soul CD by Tonia Woods, plus the acclaimed debut sets by
neo-soul heroines Conya Doss and Goapele.
